We exist to meet the needs and overcome the isolation experienced by people over 18 who have been bereaved by suicide.

Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide exist to meet the needs and break the isolation experienced by those bereaved by suicide. We are a self-help organisation and we aim to provide a safe, confidential environment in which bereaved people can share their experiences and feelings, so giving and gaining support from each other. We also strive to improve public awareness and maintain contacts with many other statutory and voluntary organisations.

We offer a unique and distinct service for bereaved adults across the UK, run by the bereaved for the bereaved. We currently help around 7000 people each year and we continue to grow in response to significant unmet demand.

Uncllys Farm - Wyre Community Land Trust

For people who enjoy being on a farm in the woods, Uncllys Farm provides a super venue. John and Linda Iles have years of experience of delivering land-based activities and wish to develop their positive experience of using these skills to help people recover from mental health difficulties.

They offer a day service centred upon the skills of forest and orchard maintenance, green woodworking (often with their own oak) and livestock including looking after the small ‘Dexter’ cattle and rare breed pigs who live with them in the woods! Uncllys has just built an incredible stone and wood building – the Ruskin Studio – that will be used for art projects, training courses, meetings and cooking as well as a providing a beautiful base for care farming.
