Worcestershire,s Primary Care Mental Health Service provides assessment and treatment to patients aged 16 and over, presenting with common mental health problems such as anxiety and/or depression. The service consists of a comprehensive range of Mental Health specialties within one Team:

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Service

Psychological Therapy Service

Counselling Service

Gateway Worker Service

Within each specialty, we aim to provide as early an intervention as possible, preventing problems from escalating and signposting on to appropriate services where necessary. Treatment consists of both individual and group therapy and is in-line with evidence-based practice. We aim to provide as comprehensive a service as possible however, not all services are available in all localities.
