About
Why Us?
There are huge challenges in society today due to an ageing population, with a rising demand for health and social care services; a growing burden of lifestyle related ill-health, particularly due to obesity; a growing need for savings across the public sector, particularly in the health and social care services, and relatively poor health in our most disadvantaged communities.
Wellbeing is central to creating resilient, thriving and sustainable communities and economies
We support the community to attain better health and wellbeing. People benefit from visiting our Wellbeing Centre and as a result, have a more positive outlook on life. There are a range of activities available to help fulfil this goal, which provide support in the physical, mental, social and spiritual areas of people's lives. We also work in partnership with other organisations that aim to achieve similar goals for wellbeing.
Take some time to have a look at all of the different activities that take place - there's something for everyone, from nought to ninety, there has to be something for you!Our activities meet a range of needs and we are constantly evolving and coming up with new ideas. We would love to see you, even if it's just for a 'cuppa' and a chat, a warm welcome awaits!
